The National Skills Academy for IT is being developed by the IT sector for the IT sector. Like all successful communities, it will thrive on people getting involved and sharing their ideas and expertise.

Working with employers, IT professionals, and training providers we are developing products and services in a way that will enable anyone with a stake in the sector to take an active role in the Skills Academy’s success.

The National Skills Academy for IT is under development and will be open for business in Autumn 2010. You can register your interest in The National Skills Academy for IT.

What you will be able to do

  • Join the Skills Academy and start building a record of your own – and your team’s – professional skills.
  • Get formal recognition for your existing capabilities by applying for one of our professional certificates.
  • Use our course finder to find the training that’s relevant for you and your team, and to find out about government subsidy for IT training.
  • Check out some of the innovative professional learning that is only available through the Skills Academy.
  • Join our network of delivery partners and become a licensed provider of IT training and learning.
  • Have your training courses and programmes endorsed by the Skills Academy so that IT employers and professionals will know they are worth the investment.
