Certifications from Microsoft within this track fall into one of two types:

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist or MCTS exams give you certification in a particular aspect - these are really focused on making you a specialist at one of Microsoft’s technologies.

Microsoft Certified IT Professional or MCITP is a package of various MCTS exams to give you the skills you need to make specific technologies work together. There are many different MCITP certifications, made up of different collections of MCTS exams. Usually there is one exam that is flagged as the MCITP exam - a cut above the MCTS pre-requisites, acting as the final part to achieve full certification.

At the National Skills Academy for IT, we are offering to support you through specific certification tracks and welcome feedback from our subscribers.
