ICT professionals used to computer companies ending support for older systems won’t have any problem understanding that the older version of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management set of qualifications, the second one (or V2) has been retired in favour of the new one – named, not that surprisingly, V3. This is actually a very positive move, as it brings this vital qualification much more into the modern world and makes it a qualification really worth considering.
