IT training – it’s in your hands

The latest e-skills Bulletin reports that the sector may be making insufficient investment in skills, with just 23% of IT staff reporting that they received education or training in the last 13 weeks, compared with 27% of staff across all sectors.

It’s a particular concern for small and micro IT businesses, with just 15% receiving training.

With employer demand for highly qualified staff on the rise, it is becoming increasingly important for individuals to obtain the skills they need to compete in the job market, and keep them up to date.
