To ensure credibility in the market place and to develop my skills in project management.

How do you think certification has helped you in your career?

It’s definitely helped be secure employment opportunities in project management.

Where do you want to be in one year?

Securing a high profile project or programme management contract opportunity.

Where do you want to be in 5 years?

Providing IT management consultancy in the area of project and programme management.

Any advice to people starting out in IT?

Choose an area of IT you are interested in and develop your expertise in this field. Don’t just wait to be spoon fed training courses. Buy books, read them and do your own research and exploration.

What’s the next course on your agenda? Why?

I need to renew my Prince 2 because its about to expire. I wouldn’t mind doing a Scrum Master Certification to enhance my credibility in delivering agile projects.
